UPDATE as of June 7: Paving continues between Pontiac Trail near the Korex property heading west to Old Plank. New concrete has been poured around the railroad crossing at the Wixom Rd. and Pontiac Trail intersection, in preparation for construction of the train crossing maze. The trail connector heading north through Mack Park to the Phase One terminus has been graded and paving continues there as well.

Work on the Downtown section in front of the Country Corners development will continue through the month of June. The final section to be built will be along Pontiac Trail between downtown Wixom and the Korex property.  We anticipate that construction will conclude in the fall.

As a reminder, even though portions of the Phase Two route may appear complete, there are many other factors (grading, landscaping, fencing) still to complete. As such, the Phase Two route is officially closed until further notice.

The Phase Two route to follow during Summer 2022 Construction is to use the sidewalks/sidepaths along the SOUTH side of Pontiac Trail, crossing Pontiac Trail at Old Plank Rd. on the west and Wixom Rd. on the east.  Use the east side of Wixom Rd as well, up to the current trail terminus.
